Summer Ease

Summer Ease

Summer has always felt different to me.

Not because life suddenly becomes easier, but because it reminds us that even busy lives deserve moments of openness. Longer days invite us outside. Travel takes us somewhere unfamiliar. Ordinary routines loosen their grip, if only for a little while.

This season's edit is about more than travel. It is about what happens when we allow ourselves to step away long enough to remember who we are beneath our responsibilities.

Over the next few weeks, we'll explore the quiet gifts of summer: movement, restoration, beautiful places, thoughtful departures, and the courage to begin again. We'll visit cities, reflect on what travel teaches us, and discover that sometimes the greatest journeys are the ones that bring us back to ourselves.

Whether your summer takes you across the country or simply to a quiet corner of your own neighborhood, I hope these essays encourage you to move a little slower, breathe a little deeper, and make space for beauty along the way.

Welcome to The Summer Ease Edit.

Enjoy the issue.
