Recently, I purchased a rug that I hoped would work for our "Gigi" so that we wouldn't worry too much about her tracking water and dirt indoors after she plays outside and the answer was right in front of my nose the entire time, a washable rug. If you have a little doggo, washable rugs might work for you too!

Update: This rug has worked well for my Gigi. Overtime, it does fade if in a high traffic area however, that does not take away from the beauty and functionality of the rug.
